Although we offer a variety of excavation services, we specialize in septic and drainage installation, land clearing, retaining walls, and excavation for new construction. Our unique equipment gives us an uncommon advantage to solve problematic situations. Our goal is not only to complete your project fast and efficiently, but to leave your property in the best possible condition at completion. We would like to always leave them better than we found them, but that’s not the reality of excavation. We will always leave as little impact as possible.
Who we are?
Dirtworx Unlimited LLC is owned and operated by Charlie Thomas and Kris De Jong. Charlie is a 3rd generation equipment operator and entrepreneur. His passion for equipment and excavation was sparked early in life. He was running equipment at a very young age under the watchful eyes of his father and grandfather - both expert operators. Although life took Charlie down and different path for a while, in 2019, he started putting the pieces in place to start Dirtworx Unlimited LLC and follow his passion in excavation. Finally, in 2021, he left corporate America and went full time with Dirtworx.
Kris, a graduate of Truman State University has built a very impressive resume working for one of largest privately owned corporations in the US. Along with her critical responsibilities to corporate America, Kris owns and manages a row crop farm just outside of Leighton, IA. Her business experience and management skills are a critical element of the success of Dirtworx.
